Agreement

By creating an account or using the KookiOk platform, consent script, or this website, you agree to these Terms. If you use KookiOk on behalf of an organisation, you accept these Terms for that organisation.

The service

KookiOk provides cookie-consent management: a configurable banner, a cookie and tracker scanner, consent logging and proof, and related dashboards.

KookiOk currently offers a single free plan with no website or page-view limits. Features may change as the product evolves. A small "Powered by KookiOk" label appears on the banner.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your own compliance with GDPR, ePrivacy, CCPA and other applicable laws — including the lawful basis for your processing, the accuracy of your cookie classifications and declarations, and how you configure the banner.

KookiOk provides tools designed to support compliance. It does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that your use of it makes you compliant.

Acceptable use

• Do not use KookiOk for any unlawful purpose.
• Only scan websites you own or are authorised to scan.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not resell or redistribute the service without our permission.

Intellectual property

KookiOk, its software, brand and content are owned by its operator. You keep ownership of your own data, configurations and content.

Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of KookiOk is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, or regulatory penalties arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using KookiOk at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these Terms or misuse the service.

Governing law

Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence. Subject to those mandatory rights, these Terms are governed by the law applicable at the operator's place of establishment.

General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and the operator regarding KookiOk and supersede any prior understanding. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor that takes over the service.
